Samfacc IML-06 – In-Mould Labelling robot
The IML-06 is a high-speed robot specifically designed for In-Mould Labelling. Before the injection moulding cycle, the robot places a printed film label into the open mould; the incoming molten plastic then flows around it — the label becomes an integral part of the product and cannot be peeled off, does not wear and does not fade. Total cycle time is 3.5 seconds. No subsequent labelling line is needed.
Fields of application
- Thin-wall food containers and cups with premium printed labels
- Dairy packaging (yoghurt, sour cream, butter spreads)
- Cosmetic and personal-care packaging
