PowerJet JT series – All-electric injection moulding machine, 60–450 t

The PowerJet JT series is an all-electric injection moulding machine — every motion is driven by a servo-motor ball-screw system. No hydraulics, no oil, no leakage. Nine clamping-unit sizes are available from 600 kN up to 4,500 kN, and several injection units can be matched to each clamping unit — 11 standard (G) and 8 fast (K) units in total, with 17 screw-diameter options (Ø18–Ø95 mm). This modular system makes it possible to configure a single machine for a wide range of products.

The key benefit of all-electric drive is oil-free, clean operation: the JT series is the obligatory choice for medical ISO 7/8 clean-room, food-contact and optical production where hydraulic-oil contamination is not permitted. Energy savings of around 65% are achieved compared with a conventional servo-hydraulic machine, since the servo-motors only consume power under load — during idle and cooling phases, consumption is close to zero.

The 23-bit absolute encoder and EtherCAT-bus-based control deliver injection-position accuracy of ±0.01 mm and back-pressure control accuracy of ±0.1 MPa. The built-in OPC-UA communication enables immediate Industry 4.0 integration with MES/ERP systems.
